I tried to get these issues visible in the photos.Ī 3 year old Thomas case is included in the sale. There are some noticeable scratches on the mica on the back deck, it looks like someone had tape on there, and got a bit aggressive trying to pull it off.Īlso, I had replaced the fretboard and the new one has a few dull spots on it, which happened when I unpeeled the protective layer on it after install. This guitar has typical wear consistent with a guitar of this vintage. RKL raises 1 a half tone, and drops 5 a half tone. It is set-up standard Emmons pedal and knees, lowering and raising the E's on the left knee, with RKR lowering 2 a half and a whole on string 2, along with string 9 being dropped a half. This guitar has wonderful push/pull tone, and plays quite easily for a p/p. It came from the factory as a 3 pedal 3 knee guitar, and I added the 4th lever (RKL) with period correct parts I obtained from Steel Guitar West (Lynn Stafford). ![]() This guitar is in nice shape, I believe I purchased it from the orginal owner, as I have the bill of sale from 1978. Here we have a 1978 S-10 Emmons pedal steel guitar with 3 pedals and 4 knee levers.
